In 2021 I was featured on Biodesign Challenge’s website, where I chat about life at Ginkgo, Grow, the importance of design, mental health, and more.

I was interviewed for Biofabricate’s Creatives in Biotech series in 2020, featuring designers who hold full-time positions in-house at biotech startups.

I’ve also guest lectured to synthetic biologists, artists, and students at Rice University, NYU Langone Health, Olin College of Engineering, and Leeds Art University. I was on a panel featuring four pioneering women in biodesign at Kent State University in 2021. I have given talks at iGEM and Biodesign Challenge, and was honored to present the awards for Best Design Implementation and Best Arts Approach at the first ever iGEM Design League.

On a more personal front, in 2018, I was one of six speakers selected from Cornell University to speak at the 11th annual series of Soup & Hope. Over hot soup and bread, each speaker shares a story of hope in the fellowship of friends, colleagues, and the wider community. Listen to my story here.
